Plane Crash at Scottsdale Airport

Another tragic plane crash this week, this time in our own backyard. A privately-owned (by Motley Crew’s Vince Neil) Bombardier Learjet 35A veered off the runway during landing and collided with a parked business jet. Initial reports say that a failure of one of the main landing gears led to the crash. Emergency responders quickly arrived, but the pilot did not survive 😞

City Council is Considering a $10 Million Well

Scottsdale City Council is evaluating a $10 million proposal to construct a new water well to address increasing water demands and ensure a reliable supply for residents. The proposed well aims to enhance the city’s water infrastructure and support future growth. We need it IMO. If approved, the project will be funded through municipal bonds and is expected to be completed within two years. Public feedback is being solicited to assess community support for the well.

Scottsdale Wine Trail

The Scottsdale Wine Trail in Downtown Scottsdale features seven tasting rooms representing Arizona wineries, all within walking distance. Participating wineries include Aridus Wine Company, AZ Stronghold, Carlson Creek, LDV Winery, Los Milics Vineyards, Salvatore Vineyards, and The Wine Collective of Scottsdale. Visitors can purchase a Wine Trail Passport for $5 at any of the wineries, offering $2 off a wine tasting at each location, except Aridus. This trail provides an accessible way to experience a variety of Arizona-grown wines without leaving the city.

Moxies Drops a New Brunch Menu 🍳

Moxies in Scottsdale Fashion Square, has dropped a new brunch menu featuring dishes such as The Big Breakfast, Steak & Eggs, Farmers Hash, Sunrise Egg Sandwich, an updated Acai Bowl, and Crab Benedict. True to Scottsdale, they’ve launched a “Build Your Own Mimosa” option, allowing guests to choose from various sparkling wines and juices like pineapple orange, grapefruit, or orange. Brunch is available on weekends only.
