SCOTTSDALE SNAPSHOT

A fun wine event for Scottsdale this weekend!

From Baseball Fields to Wine Fields

Legendary baseball manager Dusty Baker is trading dugouts for wine glasses these days, spending time with his family’s wine business.

He’s coming to Scottsdale for a special wine tasting event (see here) at the Scottsdale Civic Center on March 15th.

Guests can sip on Baker Family Wines while hearing Dusty share stories from his baseball career — sounds like a pretty cool mix of sports talk and good wine.

There’s also a TON of other celeb brands in attendance like alcohols from Brad Pitt, Snoop Dogg, Bon Jovi, Charles Barkley and more.

The event runs from 1-5 PM and space is limited, so it’s worth planning ahead.

Women’s Marathon Coming to Scottsdale

Exciting news for our city! The Every Woman’s Marathon is coming to town in November 2025, thanks to a partnership with Milk (the performance beverage brand). This race is all about inclusivity, focusing on empowering women of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a new challenge, it sounds like a fun and inspiring event to check out once November is here. Here’s an article with more info.

Cavasson Community in North Scottsdale Keeps Trucking On

North Scottsdale just keeps growing! The Cavasson development is adding even more to the area with new office spaces, restaurants, and retail spots. Personally, I’m excited since I live in North Scottsdale and want to see what it does to the area. A few more restaurants wouldn’t be terrible.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BACK DRAUGHT BREWS

Ready to turn your next event into the talk of the town?

Back Draught Brews is my buddy’s business and he puts a lot of care into it. Think of it as a giant firetruck, filled with your beverage of choice instead of water.

Whether you're planning a buzz-free bash with craft sodas, treating the kids to a magical birthday with root beer floats, or hosting an unforgettable festival with custom brews on tap, they’re here to ignite your event with something special.

From Scottsdale to beyond, they’re not just serving drinks – they’re creating memories that'll have your guests talking for months.

BUSINESS BUZZ

Museum of Illusions is Underrated

Looking for something different than the standard dinner and drinks? Check out Museum of Illusions.

It’s packed with interactive exhibits, optical illusions, and brain teasers that’ll have you questioning what’s real and what’s not.

Great for kids and adults alike, it’s the kind of spot where you’ll snap a bunch of photos and leave feeling like you just stepped out of a magic show. Whether you’re entertaining out-of-town guests or just want to switch up your weekend plans, MOI is a very fun choice.

Latin Flavors Done Right

If you’re craving seriously good Latin cuisine in Scottsdale, The Mission is great. I took my dad there for his birthday recently and the Pozole was 🤌🏽. Even my dad liked it!

Their tableside guac is everything guac should be, simple, clean and quality ingredients. The vibe is warm and classy, perfect for date night or a nice dinner with friends.

Plus, their craft cocktails are top-notch — definitely recommend trying one if you’re into tequila or mezcal.

Nothing in this section is sponsored. They're just local businesses I wanted to highlight. I'll always let you know when something's sponsored.
