SCOTTSDALE SNAPSHOT

7033 E Main Street. Suite 102
Jamie Hormel’s New Wine Bar
Jamie Hormel, the brains behind Wrigley Mansion, opened a wine bar in Old Town —and it looks like a great time. Jamie’s Bottle Shop opened on March 28th at 7033 E. Main St., with over 700 bottles ranging from everyday wines to those crazy expensive ones you pretend to know about ($15 to $15,000—no joke).
The place has that cozy-but-classy feel with natural wood, gold accents, and wine bottles stacked to the ceiling. There’s even a Champagne Room for tastings and a Reserve Room for rare, collectible bottles if you’re feeling fancy.
Best part? You can drink your wine there or grab a bottle to-go. They’ve even got small bites like charcuterie boards and pressed sandwiches if you’re hungry while enjoying some fine wine.

Must Try Pizza in Scottsdale

There’s so many good pizza spots in our area but I rarely hear people mention Crust Brothers. IMO, this is a must try if you live anywhere near Scottsdale. Yelp feels the same and ranked them as #13th best pizza in the US (see here).
Even Dave Portnoy of Barstool & One Bite Pizza Reviews gave it a high score and the man eats pizza all over the world.
The pepperoni pizza I got had the nice, thin crispy crust that I love and the small pepperonis that have all the flavor.
The menu has a ton of options, so there’s something for every pizza enthusiast. Whether you’re a fan of classic Margherita or wild toppings, they’ve got you covered. The ambiance is casual and welcoming, making it a great spot for both family outings and a casual hangout with some friends.
PS - Eddie and Mark are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Bonus points!
My Favorite Spot to Co-Work
So I usually use this spot for more bars/restaurants but figured I’d share my favorite spot to co-work and enjoy coffee / tea. Schmooze in Old Town is the place.
It has this upscale but comfy feel with leafy patios, sleek interiors, and enough natural light to keep you feeling productive. I love that it looks like an actual house.
The WiFi’s great, the coffee’s on point, and there’s a full menu if you’re planning to camp out for a while.
Nothing in this section is sponsored. They're just local businesses I wanted to highlight. I'll always let you know when something's sponsored.
