New Restaurants on the Way to Scottsdale

New Upscale Indian Restaurant Opens this Weekend

We have a new restaurant opening on March 23rd and it looks like a great, upscale spot based on the information I was able to find here.

The dishes they mention sound amazing:

“Afghani murgh, a delicately spiced chicken infused with cardamom and cream, offering a rich and aromatic flavor. For meat lovers, the lamb chops, marinated with mint, coriander, and kaffir lime, are grilled to perfection, delivering a smoky flavor.”

I’ve always had a love for good Indian food and will absolutely be checking this out! If someone beats me to please share how it is!

They open March 23 at 5pm. The address is 6208 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85253.  

Shiv Supper Club Coming Soon

I think I did a social post about Shiv when I first started Scottsdale Scoop in January. I didn’t even know what a supper club was and had to ask a buddy. Basically it’s a mix of fine dining, entertainment and a social club.

A few more details have been shared on what their menu will look like and what vibe they’re going for. I saw truffle bread service and that’s all it took for me to be locked in. Here’s an article with some sneak peeks of their food.

Still no concrete timeline on when it opens, they’re still saying “early 2025.” I personally can’t wait! I’m enjoying dressing up and having a fancy night out more and more lately.

Fun Date Spot in the Scottsdale Quarter

I walked by Candle Chemsitry a ton of times when I lived in the Quarter and my friends told me I had to check it out. Glad I did.

You walk in, pick a few scents, and blend them into your own custom candle, diffuser, or cologne. It’s way more fun than I expected—kind of like mixing a drink but for your home.

If you need a different date night, a creative way to kill an hour, or just an excuse to make your place smell amazing, this spot is worth it. Plus, you get to leave with something you made. Pretty sweet!

Pizza and Puppies Are Too Good To Not Share

Okay, so technically this isn’t Scottsdale but I came here late last week and had to share. Pizza and puppies under one roof is too good to not write about.

Pizza to the Rescue is exactly that. What started as a firefighter’s side hustle is now a full-fledged pizza obsession, and you can taste the passion in every bite. Whether you’re a classic pepperoni person or all about wild toppings, they have a pizza for you.

Plus, who doesn’t love supporting a spot with a great backstory? 25% of their pizza sales goes to the animal shelter right behind their location. And did I mention they have puppies you can pet while you wait for your pizza?! Definitely check it out and tell them Scottsdale Scoop sent you.

PS - the pizza was stellar. I did the pepperoni with basil olive oil and ate the whole thing 🐽
