SCOTTSDALE SNAPSHOT

Rev Up for Barrett-Jackson 2025!

Barrett-Jackson isn't just about buying and selling cars – it's a full-blown event you can bring the family to. The fun kicks off on Friday, January 17th, with an epic Rock the Block party featuring none other than the Red Rocker himself, Sammy Hagar, performing with Michael Anthony, Vic Johnson, and Kenny Aronoff. (Tickets start at $89, and based on Sammy's reputation for putting on amazing shows, you'll want to grab yours fast).

Bringing the family? Saturday, January 18th is Coca-Cola Family Day, where kids get in free! There's also a STEM Fest that day, perfect for inspiring the next generation of automotive engineers and designers. Throughout the nine-day event, you can enjoy everything from thrill rides in the latest sports cars to dirt track experiences, extensive exhibitor marketplaces, and even fantasy bidding.

Dates: January 17-26, 2025 Location: WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road More Info: barrett-jackson.com or 480-421-6694

Pro Tips for First-Timers:

  • Wear comfortable shoes – WestWorld is massive, and you'll want to see everything

  • Come early in the week for smaller crowds and lower ticket prices

  • Charge your phones – these cars are Instagram-worthy

  • Don't be shy about asking questions – car collectors love sharing their knowledge

  • Consider visiting on Family Day if you're bringing kids – there's special events and better prices

Star Power & Dream Machines

Action star Bruce Willis' custom 1955 Chevrolet Nomad is stealing the spotlight this year. This isn't your typical classic wagon – it's been transformed into a stunning showpiece with a powerful engine upgrade, eye-catching two-tone blue and ivory paint, and a recently installed premium sound system. It's the perfect blend of vintage style and modern luxury, exactly what you'd expect from a Hollywood legend's personal collection!

But wait, there's more star power! "This Is Us" fans, hold onto your helmets – Milo Ventimiglia is bringing not one, but two of his screen-famous motorcycles to the auction. There's his 1967 Triumph Bonneville (I want this so bad) that he used while preparing for his Evel Knievel series, and a modified 2021 BMW R nineT from "The Company You Keep." Both bikes come with real Hollywood history and would make incredible conversation pieces in any collection.

Rare Gems & Modern Marvels

For those who live and breathe exclusivity - the showstopper? A 2019 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake – number 26 of just 99 ever made worldwide, and one of only 11 in the entire United States. It's basically automotive royalty.

Whether you're a serious bidder, a casual car enthusiast, or just looking for a unique way to spend a January day in Scottsdale, Barrett-Jackson 2025 promises to be an unforgettable experience. It's more than just an auction – it's a celebration of automotive history, innovation, and the timeless appeal of beautiful machines.

See you there, Scottsdale!

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH BACK DRAUGHT BREWS

Ready to turn your next event into the talk of the town?

Back Draught Brews is my buddy’s business and he puts a lot of care into it. Think of it as a giant firetruck, filled with your beverage of choice instead of water.

Whether you're planning a buzz-free bash with craft sodas, treating the kids to a magical birthday with root beer floats, or hosting an unforgettable festival with custom brews on tap, they’re here to ignite your event with something special.

From Scottsdale to beyond, they’re not just serving drinks – they’re creating memories that'll have your guests talking for months.

BUSINESS BUZZ

Meet the Local Heroes Lifting Up Scottsdale Moms When They Need It Most ❤️

When cancer survivor Michelle Moore founded Mother's Grace in Scottsdale, she had one mission: be there for moms facing their toughest battles. Whether it's covering rent, putting food on the table, or handling those scary medical bills, this powerhouse nonprofit stepped up for over 150 local families last year alone.

Just ask Desiree Garcia, a single mom of two who found herself in Mother's Grace's warm embrace during her cancer journey. Thanks to their support, she didn't have to choose between her education and caring for her kids. Now, even as she faces a second round with cancer, Desiree's standing stronger - backed by her Mother's Grace family who simply won't let her fall.

Think of them as Scottsdale's army of guardian angels, making sure no mom has to weather life's storms alone. Now that's the kind of neighbor we all want to have!

The Local Donut is a Hidden Gem 🍩

There's a hidden gem in Scottsdale that's about to rock your world. The Local Donut is whipping up crazy combinations in donut form that'll make your regular glazed look boring, from fancy Crème Brûlée to a wild Spam & Ube French Toast combo that somehow works. The Brown Butter Matcha is my fav 😮‍💨. These aren't your average breakfast treats - each donut is basically edible art, handcrafted to make your taste buds do a happy dance. You'll need to plan your visit Wednesday through Sunday, and fair warning: the early bird gets the donut, because these babies sell out fast (and I mean fast!).

Here’s their insta if you want to check out their content. Their team puts a lot of work into their page and it shows.

Nothing in this section is sponsored. They're just local businesses I wanted to highlight. I'll always let you know when something's sponsored.

THE GOOD LIFE

Featuring last weeks most expensive home sold at $4.1M. Stunning. I LOVE how the listing agent has The Great Gatsby playing in the private movie theater pic. Nice touch since that’s the vibe this property gives.
